NASPO Engages 2,400+ Attendees with Sustainable Conference Experiences
The National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) has been partnering with Fill it Forward since 2024 to bring sustainability and charitable giving to its largest events. Through the NASPO Gives Back program, event-branded reusable bottles are distributed at four major conferences each year, reaching more than 2,400 attendees annually. By combining practical giveaways with a commitment to sustainability, NASPO enhances the conference experience while reinforcing its commitment to reducing single-use waste.

Each bottle is made from 50% recycled content and manufactured in North America, helping reduce emissions associated with overseas production and shipping. Designed with sustainability in mind, each bottle offsets its production emissions after just two reuses, making it a smart choice for large-scale events.

Since becoming a Fill it Forward member in February 2024, NASPO has worked with Fill it Forward across multiple events and maintains three private groups to track recurring conferences. Their commitment to attendee engagement and reducing single-use waste has made Fill it Forward an integral part of their events—and a model for other organizations looking to combine sustainability with meaningful experiences.
In 2025, NASPO received the Fill it Forward Changemaker Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility category, celebrating its commitment to prioritizing sustainability, aligning business practices with unwavering ethical and socially responsible values.
