Made in the USA, Designed for Impact: Panasonic’s Success

For Panasonic, sustainability is a promise to innovate with intention and create a meaningful impact across industries and communities. That’s why when the company was seeking an eco-conscious and impactful giveaway for North American events, they turned to Fill it Forward, a partner that offered a thoughtful, Made-in-USA solution.
Since joining the Fill It Forward community in November 2023, Panasonic has distributed 3,500+ reusable water bottles across high-profile industry events and internal corporate programs. The Panasonic branded bottles were more than just practical giveaways, they were responsibly manufactured in the USA and made with safe plastics for a responsible way to consume both hot and cold beverages – supporting local production while reducing environmental footprint.

The initiative first launched at a major consumer tradeshow, where Panasonic’s Fill it Forward bottles stood out as both a practical and values-driven giveaway. Unlike traditional swag, these reusable bottles invited attendees to take part in a larger sustainability story, one where every refill tracks the environmental impact and contributes to giving projects around the world.
The program expanded beyond the tradeshow floor to an in-house employee program that stimulated fun but purposeful competition among teams. And the program kept going into 2025, extending to additional tradeshow, internal and corporate events. The result? A meaningful way to connect innovation, corporate responsibility, and global impact, starting with something as simple as a reusable bottle. The bottles were highly desired by employees and spurred broader conversations on sustainability activities.
For Panasonic, it wasn’t just about reducing single-use waste, it was about choosing a product that reflects their broader mission: building a carbon-neutral future through more innovative solutions and responsible choices.
Beyond the product itself, Panasonic has embraced storytelling, leveraging social media and digital content to educate its audience on the power of reuse and the importance of choosing sustainable, locally made products. Their efforts reinforce a shared message: when you refill, you give.
