Client Success Story: The Almond Board of California

Established in 1950 and based in Modesto, California, Almond Board of California (ABC) is a non-profit organization under the supervision of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. ABC supports over 6,800 almond growers and 100 processors (many of whom are third and fourth-generation farmers) by developing global market demand for almonds, as well as investing in research to address resource efficiencies, food safety and growing practices.

Each year, ABC holds the Almond Conference (TAC); a premier almond industry event, drawing members of the almond community from across the globe. The 47th annual TAC, held in 2019, achieved all-time highs for attendance and number of exhibitors. A record 3,913 almond growers, along with 2,000+ processors, researchers, allied stakeholders and other industry members gathered at the conference.

ABC’s conference organizers partnered with Fill it Forward to provide a mindful, sustainable option as an event giveaway. They distributed 6000 customized Cupanion bottles with our standard program to their attendees, which were well received.

“The bottles at the Almond Conference were a hit. During the conference, we would have likely handed out close to 10,000 single-use bottles that would have been thrown away. Now, our growers are leaving with something they can carry in their trucks for years to come.”
