Assumptions:
- If you do not eliminate single use containers, 25% would become reusable and 75% would remain disposable
- If you do not eliminate single use containers, the amount of total containers will remain the same
- If you program does go fully reusable, a 65% participation rate is used
- Potential container stock based on transactions could be – (# of annual transactions / 260 *.75 * 5). This could vary drastically across programs
- Transactions are not growing year over year
- 5% of containers and stickers will have to be purchased every year due to lost or broken containers
- $0.05 in dishwashing and labour per reusable container transaction
