Project: Drinking Water Training Program
Water First’s Internship Program equips Indigenous young adults with the skills and certifications to address water challenges in their communities. Through a 15-month paid internship, participants gain expertise in water treatment and environmental monitoring, fostering local capacity and long-term solutions. Graduates are transforming their communities as certified operators, environmental stewards, and advocates for safe, clean drinking water. Together, we’re building stronger communities and brighter futures.
Water First is dedicated to working with First Nations communities to resolve local water challenges through education, training and collaboration.
